Zuckerberg’s testimony about his experience with Pakistan is ironic, considering his own censoring of users on his platform, even banning them and putting them in “Facebook jail.”
After accusing the Biden administration of pressuring Facebook to censure its users, Zuckerberg also says he regrets bowing to Biden pressure over COVID. It’s easier for Zuckerberg to put the blame on others than to accept full responsibility for his actions, even though it’s no secret that the Biden administration was aggressive about big government censorship.
Whether Zuckerberg is truly regretful of his own past censorship of users, or he’s afraid of Trump, is an outstanding question. One hopes that he has learned lessons about the importance of the freedom of speech in upholding free societies, and that Islam is not a religion of peace, and that standing up for freedom (as Elon Musk is doing) shows character....
