Trump made a resounding declaration: tyranny will not prevail in this great nation. This victory belongs to every single one of us who stand for truth, for freedom, and for the enduring principles making America the land of the free.
The President of the United States said:
“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice that has been perpetrated upon the American people over the last four years and begins a process of national reconciliation.”
The journey to this moment has been long, lonely, and painful. On January 6th, I delivered a speech in the U.S. Capitol—peaceful, lawful, and fully protected under the First Amendment guarantees of Free Speech and the Right to Petition the Government. Capitol Police took no action as I spoke. In fact, several listened to my speech.
Twelve days later, I was arrested, charged, and sentenced to 60 days in maximum-security federal prison.
My crime? Exercising my constitutional rights.
Every moment I spent behind bars was a stark reminder of how far our country had fallen from the individual liberties enshrined in our Bill of Rights. The Biden DOJ was weaponized and turned on thousands, like me, who challenged their COVID narrative.
I have written the page-turning story of my ordeal in my upcoming book "Selective Persecution." You can pre-order it now at DrSimoneGold.com.
